Morgan Fairchild, born Patsy An McClenny, in 1950 on February 3rd is an American actress. Her fame grew during the 1970s and 1980s due to the roles she played as an actress in television series. Her glamorous appearance was frequently the main focus of these series. Fairchild began her career in her role on the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. After appearing on Dallas in which she played Jenna Wade as the very first actress in primetime, Fairchild moved on to the NBC program Flamingo Road. For this role she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 1980 for the Best Actress - Television Series - Drama. In 1984 she costarred in ABC's short-lived premiertime soap Paper Dolls. In 1985 until 1986, Fairchild played attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also a performer in the theatre, and has appeared in TV comedies such as Murphy Brown, for which she won an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the best guest star in a Comedy Series.
