Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani's Marley, who's getting close to finishing his untitled third album, is surely a major. On the 26th of February in 1976 Ky-mani Marley was born to famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". For a person who lives up his title, each album and every trip to the Caribbean is an adventure. The Journey, his musical journey, began in the year 1999. Ky-mani was an artist of many styles who was seeking his niche in music. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Ky-mani's "traditional" reggae record. The album brought out Kymani's maturation. Many More Roads, as and The Journey are well-received around the world and established Ky-Mani's character as an independently-minded "artist". Ky-Mani mixes roots reggae with hip hop, R&B as well as contemporary jazz, to create his sound.
